Just over two years ago, Donna and her young family who live in Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula, in Victoria - were dealt the most devastating blow when Donna at the age of thirty two and in the prime of her life was diagnosed with brain cancer - inoperable brain cancer.
Since her diagnosis Donna has radiated the most amazing positivity, not letting anything get in her way or get her down.
Last year, in conjunction with Carrie Bickmore's Carries Beanies For Brain Cancer annual launch, Channel Ten's The Project aired Donna’s inspiring short film Terry The Bastard - See her story here: https://vimeo.com/333041029
Since “Terry The Bastard” aired exactly a year ago, Donna has finished the last of her treatment and currently, as it stands there are no further treatment options available for her in Australia. To Donna and all who love her so dearly that is simply not good enough. We just can't sit back and accept this.
We won't accept this and this is why we are currently fundraising to cover the cost of ongoing treatment at an integrative cancer treatment facility in Mexico - This cancer treatment centre specialises in alternative and holistic treatments and has seen other cancer sufferers have remarkable results. This wonderful opportunity for further treatment has given Donna hope to live a long a wonderful life with her two little boys, her amazing husband and her huge support crew of family and friends.
By purchasing a "See The Colour" tassel keychain all profits are going directly towards covering the costs of treatment.
We thank you endlessly for your support xxx
